What is a 2D/3D Interior Designer?

A 2D/3D Interior Designer designs and creates interior spaces that are both two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D). These designers use computer programs to create realistic images of rooms, corridors, or entire homes. They then work with clients to help them choose the look they want for their home, whether it be traditional or contemporary. Some common tasks a 3 D Interior Designer may carry out include creating floor plans and illustrations of potential layouts; helping customers select furniture based on color palette, style, function and budget; designing custom wallpaper schemes; taking measurements for draperies or upholstery placement; generating sketches of finished products.

What qualifications are required to become a 2D/3D Interior Designer?

1. A degree in interior design or related field is required.

2. Experience designing interiors is a plus, but not mandatory.

3. Strong sketching and drawing skills are necessary to create realistic 3D renderings of spaces.

4. Familiarity with computer-aided design software (CAD) such as AutoCAD or Revit is helpful for creating detailed plans and models of spaces before they're designed/built, etc..

5. Excellent communication and problem solving skills are essential for working within a team environment
