What are the skills required to become a 2D/3D Interior Designer?

1. Strong eye for detail and a thorough understanding of how design affects different parts of the architecture/interior space

2. Excellent organizational skills, able to quickly assess multiple sets of data and prioritize tasks

3. Proven experience working with 3D software packages such as Sketchup or Revit - important for designing MEPs (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)

4. Creative problem solving abilities needed in order to come up with solutions when things don't go according to plan
