What is a 2D/3D Interior Designer?

A 2D/3D Interior Designer is someone who helps create the look and feel of a space by using both 2D drawings, or sketches, and 3D rendering software. They may work on projects for businesses or private residences, designing different areas such as lobbies, hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens.

What qualifications are required to become a 2D/3D Interior Designer?

A 2D/3D Interior Designer should have a degree in interior design, be familiar with software such as AutoCAD or Sketchup, and possess excellent sketching and drawing skills. They must also be able to think critically about layout and space planning, understand how light impacts architecture and furniture designs, know how to use color schemes effectively, work well under pressure (due to tight deadlines), and have strong communication skills.

What are the skills required to become a 2D/3D Interior Designer?
