What is a 2D artist?

A 2D artist is someone who creates images and graphics using a drawing board, computer mouse, or tablet. They may work with various software programs to create illustrations and art for advertisements, video games, books, movies etc.

What qualifications are required to become a 2D artist?

1. Knowledge in 2D animation software like Adobe After Effects or CorelDraw.

2. Experience in creating illustrations and graphics for applications, websites, advertisements etc.

3. Creative flair and the ability to think outside of the box when it comes to design concepts/solutions

4. Excellent rendering skills - capable of producing high-quality images with correct colors and textures

5. Strong attention to detail - must be able to flawlessly recreate complex scenes from reference materials

What are the skills required to become a 2D artist?

1. Basic understanding of art concepts and techniques such as shading, anatomy, composition etc.

2. Ability to create clean vector lines and shapes using a variety of software applications (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape)

3. Familiarity with 3D rendering engines/tools like Blender or Maya – useful for creating high-resolution images or architectural renderings

4. Creativity and innovation – it's important to be able to come up with new ideas when working on 2D projects; also need good attention to detail and the ability to work quickly turnaround times
