-Due to the increased use of 3D art software and engines, 2D artists are becoming more sought after than ever before. Strong visualization skills are essential for success as a 2D artist.

Additionally, strong understanding of perspective is important since most scenes will be rendered from an elevated standpoint (elevation maps must be created). Lastly, good sense of color management is needed to create vibrant graphics that look great on all devices
