What is a 2D Graphic Designer?

A 2D graphic designer is someone who creates graphics, such as images, icons and logos, for use on websites or in print. They may also create illustrations and animations. A typical role of a 2D graphic designer is to develop initial concepts for projects and then working with teams to produce finished products that meet client requirements. Some common tasks related to this job include creating wireframes or mockups of designs; coming up with ideas for new product features or redesigning existing ones; collaborating with team members on revisions; developing marketing materials like website banners and brochures; designing covers for digital magazines or books;and creating motion graphics videos.

What qualifications are required to become a 2D Graphic Designer?

1. Some experience in graphic design is desirable, but not necessary.

2. Knowledge of Photoshop and Inkscape can be helpful, as well as some knowledge about typography and layout principles.

3. Strong attention to detail is a must; 2D Graphic Designers need to be able to see the smallest details that make up an image or piece of text, and work carefully with color palettes and layouts in order to create cohesive designs that look good together no matter how different their elements may seem at first glance.
