A 2D graphic designer creates designs for logos, flyers, and other graphical elements in a printed or electronic medium. They may also create animations or illustrations. A typical day at work might involve coming up with ideas for new graphics, working on sketches and final versions of those graphics, liaising with clients to get feedback on their projects, and creating finished products that can be used by businesses large and small.
Some common qualifications for becoming a 2D Graphic Designer include experience in graphic design, knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator software, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Additionally, most jurisdictions require candidates to have a degree in graphic design or related field.
