A 3D Graphic Designer is someone who creates graphics for products, websites and other projects using computer programs that create three-dimensional images. They may also use tools such as drawing or photo editing software to create preliminary sketches before beginning a more detailed design process. A typical career path for a 3D Graphic Designer might include working in an advertising agency, studio or freelance setting. Often required skills include strong visualization and drafting abilities along with experience working with CAD/CAM software
1. Experience in graphic design software applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator 2. Familiarity with 3D rendering programs, like Maya or Blender 3. Knowledge of typography and layout principles 4. Creative thinking skills 5. Excellent communication and problem solving abilities
In order to become a 3D Graphic Designer, you will need strong graphic design skills as well as experience in 3D software. Additionally, it is usually recommended that applicants have some knowledge of typography and layout.
