What is a 3D Signage Fabricator?

A 3D signage fabricator creates signs and displays using three dimensional printing. This technology allows for objects to be created from layers of different materials which are then fused together to create a product. Fabricators use computer-aided design software to create digital models of the products they wish to produce, before transferring these onto large sheets of plastic or metal that can be printed in multiple colors.

What qualifications are required to become a 3D Signage Fabricator?

A 3D Signage Fabricator should have a degree in engineering or related field, be experienced with computer-aided design and fabrication software, possess strong manual dexterity and excellent attention to detail. They also need good problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.

What are the skills required to become a 3D Signage Fabricator?

1. Knowledge in 3D printing and fabrication processes

2. Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor

3. Excellent troubleshooting skills

4. Proven experience fabricating sign structures from fiberglass, aluminum, plastics or other materials

5. Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
