A 3D Signage Fabricator creates signage for businesses, homes and other locations. They use digital fabrication technology to create products from a variety of materials including plastics, metals, and composites.
1. A knowledge of 3D printing technology and fabrication methods
2. Experience crafting sign products from traditional materials like metal or plastic
3. Proven ability to create high-quality, durable signs using CAD/CAM software
4. Expertise in silk screening and other graphic design processes
5. Strong problem solving skills
Some skills that are typically required to become a 3D Signage Fabricator include CAD/CAM software, fabrication tools, metalworking experience, and electrical engineering. Additionally, some knowledge of sign production processes would be beneficial.
