What is a 3D Signage Fabricator?

A 3D Signage Fabricator creates physical or digital signage fabrications using a variety of fabrication methods. Common fabrication methods include cutting, sewing, welding and casting. Additionally, the 3D Signage Fabricator may also use software to create designs or model images for future sign installations.

What qualifications are required to become a 3D Signage Fabricator?

1. In-depth knowledge of 3D printing technologies and how to use them.

2. Experience in fabricating large objects using CNC machines or other manufacturing equipment.

3. Familiarity with CAD software, including the ability to create detailed designs for fabrication purposes.

4. Strong understanding of materials science and engineering principles related to 3D printed products, such as thermoplastics and metals/alloys used in production processes (for example: SLA).

5.- Exceptional problem solving skills; able to think outside the box when it comes time to solve a difficult challenge

What are the skills required to become a 3D Signage Fabricator?

-The ability to use 3D modeling software such as Sketchup or Rhino

-A good understanding of fabrication techniques, including CNC machining and welding

-Proven experience fabricating large pieces of plastic or metal using traditional manufacturing methods

-Flexibility in working with a variety of materials and finishes
