What is a 3G/4G Welder?

A 3G/4G Welder is a machine that can connect to the internet and weld metals using electricity. It allows for more accurate welding, as well as faster and easier repairs.

What qualifications are required to become a 3G/4G Welder?

1. A 3G/4G Welder must have a minimum of an Associate's degree in welding technology or equivalent and be certified by the American Welding Society (AWS).

2. Some experience as a welder is preferred, but not required.

3. Familiarity with common arc welders and oxyacetylene equipment is necessary, along with knowledge of basic metalworking techniques like cutting, grinding, drilling and filing.

4. Skillful use of hand tools such as hammers, chisels and knives are essential for most tasks on the job site; somewelders may require training in how to use specific types of hand tools safely. 5 . Being able to read blueprints or other engineering drawings can also come in handy when troubleshooting problems or completing jobsite modifications
