What is a 3G/4G Welder?

A 3G/4G welder is a machine that uses wireless technology to connect with other machines and transfer data. This allows the welder to work on large, complex projects without having to stop and plug in every few minutes.

What qualifications are required to become a 3G/4G Welder?

A 3G/4G Welder must have a minimum of an associate's degree in welding technology. They also need to pass a Welding Test and be licensed by their state.

What are the skills required to become a 3G/4G Welder?

-Knowledge of welding techniques -This includes understanding the different types of welds and how they are made, as well as being able to identify problems with a Weld.

-Familiarity with 3G/4G equipment - Knowledge of how these systems work is essential in order to successfully complete an assignment.

-Experience using welding torches and MIG welder – Being familiar with both torch settings (including gas type and amperage) and power sources is ideal for a Welder.

-Ability to read blueprints or diagrams – Understanding the schematics behind an object allows you to better understand what needs to be done when repairing it.
