What qualifications are required to become a 3G/4G Welder?

1. A welding certificate is required

2. Must have at least 2 years of experience in welding

3. Ability to read blueprints and work with dimensioned drawings

4. Solid understanding of arc Welding principles and techniques including MIG, TIG, Stick welder etc .-Must be comfortable using one or more types of welders.-Familiarity with basic math skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division) is a plus

What are the skills required to become a 3G/4G Welder?

1. Knowledge of welding and metalworking processes

2. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

3. Experience with 3D CAD or other design software

4. Excellent problem solving skills, able to work independently as well as in a team environment
