What is a 6G Welder?

A 6G welder is a type of welding machine that uses electricity to weld metal. It has six times the heat capacity of a regular welder and can handle larger pieces of metal.

What qualifications are required to become a 6G Welder?

A 6G Welder must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass the welding safety certification. They also need to have experience in welding, as well as access to welders' tools and materials. Finally, they must be physically fit for the job since welding is an intense physical activity

What are the skills required to become a 6G Welder?

1. Basic welding skills- Must be able to hold a welder's torch, weld bead, and make basic repairs on pipe or other metal objects.

2. Experience using MIG/TIG Welders- Ideally 3+ years experience with these machines

3. Advanced understanding of arc welding theory and practice- Familiarity with TIG technology is ideal but not required

4. Knowledge of fabrication processes & equipment used in 6G Welder manufacturing - Understanding how different types of metals are cut, formed, heated etc will be helpful
