2. Experience with welding processes and tools is a must, as are good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity skills.

3. Must be able to work safely in confined spaces, using heavy equipment and standing for long periods of time without restful sleep or breaks

What are the skills required to become a 6G Welder?

-Proven welding experience

-Good attention to detail and strong work ethic

-Ability to read blueprints or sketches and be able to visualize the project being welded

-Knowledge of gas shielding methods, including TIG/MMA welding processes

-Experienced with using power sources such as MIG Welders, Arc Welder, Stick welder etc.
