What is a AC Duct Cleaner?

What qualifications are required to become a AC Duct Cleaner?

1. A degree in duct cleaning is needed.

2. Certification from an industry organization like the National Association of Clean Air Professionals (NACAPP) or American Society for Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) is preferred but not required.

3. Previous experience as a dryer vent cleaner is helpful, although not necessary to become a AC duct cleaner.

4. Must be able to work independently and have excellent organizational skills, due to the often complex nature of some HVAC systems requiring careful inspection/cleaning before repairs can be made..

5. Acute attention to detail and good problem solving abilities are essential
