What is a AC Duct Cleaner?

A duct cleaner is a contractor who specializes in cleaning air ducts. Aduct cleaners use special equipment and chemicals to clean the inside of air ducts, removing dust, debris, and other pollutants from the airflow within them.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Duct Cleaner?

1. Valid license or certification from an AC Duct Cleaning Certification Body such as the National Association of Home Inspectors (NAHI)

2. Minimum 2 years experience in a related field, such as construction and/or industrial cleaning

3. Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail

4. Proven ability to work independently with little supervision

5. Ability to read blueprints and diagrams

What are the skills required to become a AC Duct Cleaner?

1. Skill in using a vacuum cleaner

2. Knowledge of AC systems and their proper maintenance

3. Ability to read diagrams and understand technical terms used during inspection

4. Habit of being meticulous and clean while working inside an AC system
