What is a AC Duct Cleaner?

A duct cleaner is a professional who cleans air conditioning and heating vents. They use special equipment to get into the nooks and crannies of the system, cleaning it out as they go. Duct cleaners also inspect systems for signs of damage that may have occurred over time, such as dirt build-up or corrosion on metal parts.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Duct Cleaner?

1. Certification from an accredited organization such as the National Association of Clean Air Producers (NACAP)

2. Minimum 2 years experience in a related field

3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

4. Ability to work independently and take direction when needed but also be able to handle tasks on their own without supervision

5. Strong safety awareness
