What is a AC Ductman?

A ductman is a technician who installs, repairs and maintains air conditioning systems. They are responsible for making sure that the cooling system in an office or home operates smoothly, efficiently and at the appropriate temperature. Ductmen also ensure that all maintenance work on AC units is done properly to avoid damage and prolonging the life of the unit.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Ductman?

A. A high school diploma or equivalent

B. Two years of experience in the construction industry

C. Certification as an apprentice ductman from a recognized trade organization

D. The ability to read and write standard English, understand basic engineering drawings, be able to use hand tools competently and pass a safety inspection
