What is a AC Ductman?

A ductman is a technician who repairs and maintains AC systems. They use tools such as meters, vacuum cleaners, and fans to clean the system of dirt, dust, and other debris. Ductmen also inspect pipes for leaks or abnormalities which could cause problems with the air conditioning unit.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Ductman?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required

2. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a criminal background check

3. Have at least 2 years of experience in the duct cleaning industry, including working as an apprentice or technician for at least 1 year

4. must be physically fit, able to lift 50 pounds and have good vision and manual dexterity

5. Permanently reside within 25 miles of one of our AC Ductman service centers

What are the skills required to become a AC Ductman?

-A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required to become an AC ductman.

-Some training in math and science is also beneficial, as are good problem solving skills.

-Proven experience working with air conditioning and heating systems is necessary.

-Ability to read and understand technical manuals is essential, along with the ability to operate equipment safely.

-Strong work ethic and attention to detail are important traits for success as an AC ductman
