What is a AC Ductman?

A AC ductman is a tradesperson who installs, repairs and maintains air conditioning systems. They are responsible for checking the system for proper functionality, identifying any problems and fixing them as quickly as possible. Ductmen use different tools to access parts of an HVAC system that may be difficult or impossible to reach other ways, such as through ceilings or walls.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Ductman?

1. A minimum of 2 years experience in the installation and maintenance of air conditioning ducts is required.

2. Knowledge about AC systems, including how to diagnose and fix them is a must.

3. Expertise with basic tools, like hammers and screwdrivers are essential for this job as well as good work ethic; you will be working outdoors most of the time!

4. Ability to read blueprints or drawings that depict an AC system layout is also helpful because it allows you to identify areas where ductwork may be installed incorrectly or in tight spaces – which can lead to problems sooner rather than later!

5. Finally, some form of liability insurance coverage (including workers' compensation) would not go amiss either – just in case something goes wrong on your shift!
