What is a AC Ductman?

A ductman is someone who installs, repairs and maintains air conditioning systems. They are responsible for ensuring that the system operates at its best possible performance so that everyone in the building can enjoy a comfortable temperature. Ductmen also work to prevent condensation from forming on refrigerant lines, which could lead to leaks or damage.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Ductman?

A. A high school diploma or equivalent is required to become a AC Ductman.

B. certification from the National Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Association (NACRA) is necessary in order to work as an AC ductman.

C. experience working with air conditioning systems is helpful, but not mandatory for this position

D. physical ability and stamina are essential qualities for this occupation; candidates must be able to walk long distances and stand up for extended periods of time without rest
