What is a AC Ductman?

A ductman is a tradesperson who installs, maintains and repairs air conditioning systems. They typically work in cold environments and use tools such as power saws and drill machines to complete their tasks. Ductmen often wear protective clothing including masks, gloves and boots to keep them safe from the potentially hazardous materials they may come into contact with on a daily basis.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Ductman?

1. A minimum of two years experience as a Journeyman Electrician is required.

2. AC Ductmen must have an understanding of high-voltage electrical systems and be able to work safely near these systems.

3. Ac ductmen must have excellent problem solving skills, both technically and conceptually, in order to troubleshoot issues related to AC systems installation or repair on television sets, computer monitors, air conditioning units etc..

4. In addition to their technical expertise with AC systems, ac ductmen also need good customer service skills because they will often interact with customers during system repairs or installations.

5 Finally, ac ductmen must be physically fit enough to lift heavy objects and climb ladders while working in tight spaces
