What is a AC Ductman?

A ductman is a technician who installs, maintains and repairs air conditioning systems. They are responsible for ensuring that the system operates at peak efficiency, repairing or replacing broken parts as needed. Ductmen often work in teams to complete large-scale projects quickly and efficiently.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Ductman?

1. A minimum of two years experience in the heating and cooling industry is required to become a AC Ductman.

2. Ability to read, write, and understand basic engineering drawings is necessary for this position.

3. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and must have good safety awareness skills.

4. Highly skilled in using diagnostic equipment such as thermal imagers and thermocouples for locating problems with systems or components within an HVAC system/installation area

5 . Strong problem solving abilities are also necessary
