What is a AC Ductman?

A ductman is a technician who installs and repairs air conditioning systems. They use tools such as drills, saws, and hammers to make the repair or installation. Ductmen usually work in teams of two or three during peak season.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Ductman?

A. A high school diploma or equivalent.

B. Two years of experience in the construction industry, including working with air conditioners and ductwork installation/removal.

C. Must be able to read and write English fluently (written test required).

D. Ability to work independently as well as part-time during peak periods (installation/removal projects).

Eligibility for a certification from the National Air Conditioning Contractors Association (NACC) is beneficial but not mandatory for employment as an AC Ductman
