What is a AC Ductman?

A ductman is a person who installs, repairs, or maintains air conditioning and heating systems in buildings. He may also work on other mechanical systems inside the building.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Ductman?

A. A minimum of 2 years experience in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry is required to become a AC ductman.

B. Must be able to read and write legibly in English

C. Must have certification as an HVAC Technician from the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) or equivalent certification

D. Be certified by The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) at level II or III technician competence

E. Have obtainable driver’s license with proof of insurance
