What is a AC Ductman?

A ductman is a person who installs, maintains and repairs air conditioning systems. They use tools such as meters to measure the amount of air flowing through an HVAC system, in order to determine when something needs fixing or replaced.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Ductman?

A. A college degree in engineering or a related field is required

B. Must have five years of experience as an AC technician, ductman, or apprentice engineer

C. Knowledge and skills in diagnosing and repairing air conditioning systems

D. Ability to work independently with little supervision

What are the skills required to become a AC Ductman?

-Able to read and understand schematics

-Good hand eye coordination

-Knowledge of AC systems and their components

-Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
