A ductman is an installer, maintainer and repair technician for air conditioning systems. They install, diagnose, adjust and replace AC units in homes and businesses. Ductmen are also responsible for checking the condition of HVAC system filters to ensure proper operation.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Ductman?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required to become a AC Ductman.

2. Previous experience in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry is preferred but not required.

3. Excellent customer service skills are essential for success as an AC ductman because customers can be demanding and unruly at times.

4 good physical strength, agility and coordination are also important since Dwg's work frequently involves climbing ladders and walking on tight spaces above HVAC system components..
