What is a AC Ductman?

A ductman is a skilled tradesperson who installs, maintains and repairs air conditioning systems. They typically have a high school diploma or equivalent, certification in AC installation/repair from an accredited organization and at least two years of experience installing, maintaining or repairing air conditioning systems.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Ductman?

1. The individual must be licensed and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the ducting industry.

2. They must be able to read and understand blueprints or schematics for AC systems, as well as maintain accurate records of work performed on AC systems.

3. They must possess strong problem solving skills, as they will need to identify problems with equipment and/or systems quickly and come up with solutions accordingly.

4. Excellent communication abilities are required; Ductmen will often need to relay information between different departments within an organisation, both verbally and in writing..

5. Finally, due to the physical nature of the job (i e., crawling through narrow spaces), ductmen require considerable strength & stamina
