What is a AC Ductman?

A ductman is a person who installs, repairs and maintains AC systems. A ductman typically works in commercial or industrial settings where high-volume air conditioning is necessary.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Ductman?

A. A high school diploma or equivalent is required

B. Certification as a certified heating and cooling specialist from the National Air Conditioning Contractors Association (NACCA) or a similar organization is generally preferred

C. experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, repair or replacement is desirable

D. knowledge of refrigerant gases and oil-fired heaters is helpful

What are the skills required to become a AC Ductman?
