What is a AC Ductman?

A ductman is a technician who installs, repairs, or maintains air conditioning and heating systems. They work in both residential and commercial settings. Ductmen use a variety of tools to get the job done, including Air Conditioning Units (ACUs), Heating Units (HUs), registers, flues, cleaning equipment and more.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Ductman?

A. A minimum of 3 years experience in the heating and cooling industry

B. Certification as a HVAC technician from an accredited organization such as the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) or The Mechanical Contractors Association (TMC)

C. Valid driver's license and auto insurance

D. Ability to read, write, and understand basic mechanical principles
