What is a AC Ductman?

A ductman is a tradesperson who installs, maintains, and repairs air conditioning systems. They use tools such as power saws and drills to cut through walls and insulation in order to reach the cooling units. Ductmen also install new AC units or repair existing ones.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Ductman?

1. A minimum of 2 years experience in the construction industry

2. High school diploma or equivalent

3. Valid driver's license and safe driving record

4. Good work ethic, reliable, able to meet deadlines

5. Team player

What are the skills required to become a AC Ductman?

-Knowledge of AC systems and installation procedures

-Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints

-Proven experience in installing or repairing air conditioning ductwork

-Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
