What is a AC Ductman?

A ductman is a tradesperson who installs, maintains and repairs air conditioning systems. They use various tools to get the job done, including fans, hoses and gauges. Ductmen also inspect AC units for signs of wear or damage.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Ductman?

1. A minimum of 2 years experience in the heating, cooling or ventilation industry is required to become a AC ductman.

2. Must be able to read and write English fluently and have knowledge of basic mechanics and electricity concepts

3. Needed skills include working with tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, drills etc., climbing ladders and walking on uneven surfaces

4. Ability to think outside the box; problem solving abilities are essential for this position
