What is a AC Ductman?

A ductman is a technician who installs, maintains and repairs air conditioning systems. They use tools such as gauges and meters to determine the need for maintenance or repair on an AC system. Ductmen typically work in large commercial buildings or office campuses where there are many cooling units.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Ductman?

1. A minimum of 2 years experience in the building and/or construction industry is required to become a AC Ductman.

2. Knowledge of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment is necessary for this position.

3. Skillful use of hand tools is essential for ductwork installation and repairs.

4.$50K-$75K salary range with excellent benefits package including health insurance, 401k retirement plan, paid holidays etc..

5 The ability to read maps and follow written directions are also important skills for this job
