A AC Technician cum Driver is a person who repairs, installs and maintains air conditioning units in commercial or residential premises.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Technician cum Driver?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required to become a AC Technician cum Driver.

2. Some experience working with air conditioning and mechanics may be helpful, but isn't always necessary.

3. Certification from an accredited trade organization such as the National Air-Conditioning Contractors Association (NACCA) is often mandatory for most positions in the industry, although not always required for driver positions . It can demonstrate competence in installing, repairing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems .

4. Driving skills are essential for this position; many companies require drivers to hold a CDL license or its equivalent .

5. In addition to possessing appropriate qualifications, candidates must possess good communication and interpersonal skills since frequent interaction with customers is inevitable
