An AC Technician cum Driver is an individual who has both the technical skills and experience to work on air conditioning systems. They are responsible for maintaining, repairing, or upgrading air conditioning units in a facility.
A person who wants to become an AC Technician cum Driver must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to read, write and understand basic English. They also need to have valid driving privileges in the United States.
1. The skills required to become a AC Technician cum Driver are good communication, problem solving and mechanical abilities.
2. It is important for candidates to have a valid driver's license and previous experience as an electrician or mechanic in order to be successful as an AC technician/driver.
3. Candidates must have excellent work ethic and attention to detail in order not only with the installation of air conditioning systems but also regular maintenance procedures on these same systems.
4.. A minimum of certification from the National Air Conditioning Contractors Association (NACC) may be necessary along with additional training specific towards installing, repairing or maintaining heating, ventilation & air-conditioning (HVAC). 5 Finally, being able to maintain composure under pressure while working within tight timeframes would also prove beneficial
