AC Technician cum Driver is a person who has both the technical skills and experience required to work on air conditioning systems. They are typically responsible for driving and maintaining equipment, as well as troubleshooting problems.
1. A valid driver’s license is required
2. Must be at least 18 years old
3. Must have a clean driving record
4. Completion of an accredited AC technician program or equivalent experience will be preferred
5. Ability to read, write and understand basic English
The skills required to become a AC Technician cum Driver vary depending on the position. However, most positions typically require at least an Associate's degree in air conditioning or heating engineering and several years of experience. Many also require certification from either the National Association of Air Conditioning Technicians (NAACT) or American Society for Heating, Refrigeration and Environmental Engineering (ASHRAE).
