What is a AC Technician?

A AC Technician is a person who repairs and maintains air conditioning units. They may also be responsible for inspecting these units to ensure they are running properly.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Technician?

1. The individual must have a high school diploma or equivalent level of education and experience in electricity, wiring, and mechanics.

2. Must be able to read and understand electrical diagrams/ schematics.

3. Experience with AC meters is desirable but not required for this position..

4 Have good problem solving skills as they will need to fix problems on the spot when they occur .

5 Good communication (verbal & written) skills are essential as technicians work closely with others in the field

What are the skills required to become a AC Technician?

1. Knowledge of electronics and wiring, including how to use tools and test equipment

2. Ability to read schematics or diagrams for electronic devices

3. Basic knowledge of AC power supplies and circuits

4. Experience troubleshooting electrical issues in residential or commercial buildings

5. Strong problem-solving skills
