What is a AC Technician?

A technician in the air conditioning and heating industry is someone who inspects, maintains, repairs or replaces AC systems. What qualifications are required to become a AC Technician?

A. A high school diploma or equivalent is required

B. Must have 2 years of experience in a technical field

C. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and schematics

D. Experience with power tools, such as drills, saws, screwdrivers etc., is helpful

E. Familiarity with computers (Windows-based)
