A AC Technician is a person who installs, repairs and maintains air conditioning systems. They typically work in commercial or industrial settings.
A. A high school diploma or equivalent is required
B. Basic computer knowledge and experience
C. Certifications may be necessary, such as an AC technician certification from the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA)
D. Must have good problem solving skills and be able to work independently
E. Ability to read schematics
-The ability to read and understand schematics
-The ability to follow written or verbal instructions
-The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Flexible working hours in order to cover emergencies
