What is a AC Technician?

An AC Technician is a person who repairs, installs and maintains air conditioning units. They may also work on other HVAC systems such as furnaces or boilers.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Technician?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

2. Prior experience with electricity and plumbing is preferred but not necessary.

3. Must be able to read and write in English well enough to understand instructions or correspondence from the company, as well as troubleshoot problems onsite

4. must have good problem solving skills and be comfortable working independently; 5 years of hands-on experience installing, repairing, maintaining electrical systems would be ideal
