AAC Technician is someone who specializes in repairing and maintaining AC systems. What qualifications are required to become a AC Technician?

2. Must have a minimum of two years' experience in an electrical installation and maintenance position with heavy equipment knowledge, such as generators, motors and switchgear.

3. Certification through the National Electrical Code (NEC) may be beneficial for certain positions; some states also require certification from their licensing board/agency before employment can commence.

4. Knowledge of commercial wiring standards and practices is necessary, along with familiarity with various types of tools used in electrical work including wire strippers, cutters and saws (mandrel-bored hole saw).
