Job Responsibilities: · Performing Corrective & preventive Maintenance of all type of A/C units. (Chiller, Package Unit, Split, Window, Cassette AC, Panel AC, Water cooler , FCU, AHU’s & FAHU’s) · Ability to work for installation, testing & commissioning of new split unit. · Able to diagnose of electrical and mechanical defects and malfunction of HVAC system. · Ability to read and understand electrical diagram of HVAC system. Experience: Minimum 3- 5 years in HVAC operation and maintenance projects. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

What is a AC Technician?

A AC Technician is someone who repairs and maintains the power systems in an area. They will often be called upon to work during periods of high demand, such as when a storm hits or during rush hour.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Technician?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required to become a AC Technician.

2. Several years of experience in repairing, installing, and maintaining air conditioning systems are desirable for those seeking employment as an AC Technician.

3. Technicians must be able to read schematics and understand technical jargon related to air conditioning systems; additionally, they should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with little supervision.

4.. Basic knowledge of math (including trigonometry) is helpful but not mandatory for technicians who work with calculus equations frequently associated with HVAC installation/repair procedures; on the other hand, familiarity with basic tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers etc., is essential due to frequent use during job duties.

5.. Certification from one of several national certifying bodies may also be required for some positions within the HVAC industry - this includes National Air Conditioning Contractors Association (NACC), American Society of Heating & Refrigeration Engineers (ASHRAE), Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB), Australian Building Code Council (ABC).
