What is a AC Technician?

A AC Technician is a person who repairs and maintains the AC units in homes, businesses, schools and other buildings. They are responsible for ensuring that all of the air conditioning systems work properly so that everyone can stay cool during hot weather.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Technician?

1. A degree in electrical or telecommunications engineering is the minimum qualification for a technician position, although some entry-level positions may require only an associate's degree. Many technicians have completed vocational training in electricity and electronics technologies.
