What is a AC Technician?

A AC Technician is a technician who repairs and maintains air conditioning units. They may also be responsible for inspecting, testing, or replacing components on an air conditioning unit.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Technician?

A certificate or degree in AC technology from an accredited school.1 years of experience as an assistant technician in a technical support department for air conditioning and heating systems. Strong communication and problem solving skills. Knowledge of common diagnostic tools used to troubleshoot air conditioning and heating problems. Familiarity with various types of ac units, including gas, electric, heat pump etc. Good computer literacy - able to use basic Windows commands to diagnose issues
