What is a AC Technician?

AAC technician is an individual who specializes in repairing and maintaining air conditioning systems. They typically have a degree in engineering or mechanical sciences, and may also have experience working as repair technicians or mechanics for other industries. AAC technicians use their knowledge of air conditioning technology to diagnose problems with the system, recommend solutions, and carry out repairs.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Technician?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

2. Certification in AC repair, installation and maintenance from an accredited program is generally necessary.

3. Excellent customer service skills are a must as technicians work with customers daily to resolve issues pertaining to their air conditioners and heat pumps.

4. Previous experience working with electrical wiring and appliances is helpful, but not mandatory for the position of AC Technician; some training may be provided at the job site during onboarding if desired.. 5 . The ability to read schematics will give you an advantage when troubleshooting problems with HVAC systems

What are the skills required to become a AC Technician?
