What is a AC Technician?

A technician who repairs and maintains AC units. May also install, repair or replace air conditioning equipment in a building.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Technician?

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

2. Valid certification as an air conditioning technician from a nationally recognized organization is required, such as the National Air Conditioning Contractors Association (NACA).

3. Experience in installing and repairing AC systems is preferred but not mandatory - training will be provided onsite at our facility.

4. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to work with customers and co-workers alike; good communication abilities are also essential for resolving problems quickly without resorting to yelling orName calling .

5. A willingness to learn new techniques rapidly is a must, since technology constantly changes and updates are frequent in the industry
