What is a AC Technician?

A AC Technician is someone who maintains and repairs air conditioning systems. They may also be responsible for installing, repairing or replacing components of the system, such as filters or compressors.

What qualifications are required to become a AC Technician?

A. A high school diploma or equivalent is required

B. Must be able to work with a computer and follow instructions

C. Experience in heating, air conditioning, or refrigeration systems desirable

D. Certification as an electrician may be preferred but not necessary

E. Ability to read and write English well
