What is a AC Technician?

An AC technician is a person who knows how to work with air conditioning and heating systems. What qualifications are required to become a AC Technician?

-A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

-Two years of experience repairing and maintaining air conditioning systems is required.

-Basic knowledge in AC repair tools, such as a voltmeter, ohmmeter and test light are necessary.

-Good working knowledge of power supplies (AC/DC), refrigerants and HVAC systems is essential.
